I have done some reading on this procedure and seem to favor it more than Lasik because you dont cut the eye. My concerns are the halos and start bursts, are there any specific reasons why that happens? PRK seems like a batter deal to me because i have heard some bad stuff about Lasik and the machines breaking. If anyone has had PRK done for at least a year tell me about it or anything you know. I want first hand accounts of this stuff so i can know what i might be getting into.

Can I have PRK eye surgery at 17??????
I have had glasses for 9 years give or take 1 or 2 years I don't remember how old I was when I got them. . I am 16 and my prescription has been stable for a year so far. When I turn 17 it will have been stable for 2 years. Will I be able to have PRK Photorefractive Keratectomy when I am 17? I can't do LASIK because I want to join the US Army and LASIK can be undone by physical strain the flap on your eye comes off but PRK there is no flap so it can't come undone.
I had PRK eye surgery 6 weeks ago and have halos, starbursts, and ghosting. Can I expect this to go away soon?
These are kinda mild, and are mostly noticable at night. Especially during my early morning and late night commute. My eyes also get pretty dry, so I put in eye drops regularly throughout the day. Please help...
