I have to give a speech about the subject tomorrow morning for high school and I'm have trouble ending it. I was thinking a quote, but if you know something better, tell me. It's about what optometrists do, the training they go through, their salary, etc. and why being an optometrist would be rewarding.

Alot of people (pharmacy related people) have been telling me that optometry is a not the best field to go in?
Personally, I think optometry is a much better field than pharmacy. Bc there's more patient interaction, you have the option of having your own clinic .. you can diagnose treat on the spot ..whereas pharmacy ..you stand there all day checking medication and giving consultations by reading off the label. My pharmacy people tell me ...that their optometrist and the field in general is going to hell. Is there anyone out there that has anything to say about optometry NOT being as bad as everyone says it is ..career outlook, salary, etc. thanks

How much do COLORED contacts cost at the natomas optometry?
Okay well im 13 years old and i have like bluish gray eyes that i hate and i just wanted to get blue colored contacts to enhance the color of my eyes and they said that it would be too expensive even thought we have insurance and everything. I go to the natomas optometry and i want to try to persuade them that it is not expensive and it doesn't say the price on the the natomas optometry homepage.
I'm interested in optometry but I'm wondering if any of it is worth it when you have an endless amount of debt?
