Can minors get laser vision correction?
Can kids under the age of 20 from 12 18 get laser vision correction if they have astigatism? How much does it generally cost?Also what are the risks? is Lasik a good company?

Regarding laser vision correction?
Anyone had any experience with the places that charge less for correction procedures in the Portland Or Area. The place I went to for a consultation, wanted over 3 grand.I know people are going to say " well you cant put a price on your eyes" which is a true statement but why pay more if you dont have to.

i have 1.5 power. i am bored of wearing glasses and contact lens r giving me an infection.

Thanks so much also, i've heard that the improvement in vision after the surgery would only last a few years and that eventually it will go back to being as bad as before, is that true? a common complaint i heard people having after the surgery is constant dry eyes that may or may not be sensitive to sunlight. either way, would you recommend have the laser surgery now or waiting a couple more years for the technology to improve a little more???

I was quoted $999 from someone with a pretty good deal of experience but have seen prices to $5000 for a friend of mine. And in a related topic, is the all laser version better, worse or roughly the same as having the eye incision made by blade?

Laser Vision - What About The Future?
When you have laser vision they use a laser to cut away bits of the lens in the back of your eyes to correct it. If you had this surgery when you where about twenty five, what would happen when you are fifty, would it get worse or better since you have half your lens missing.I do not mean Laser Eyes I mean when you go to the hospital to correct your vision like you see on the adverts.
