Laser Eye Surgery

Question: Considering laser eye surgery.?

My vision is deteriorating rapidly and im only 15, Im near sighted( very bad ) , as well as far sighted but not as bad. Everything is blurry wether its close or far away, i wear glasses but even those arnt strong enough. I was considering going through laser eye surgery but i was wondering what were some of the repercussions. The pros and cons. How are the results? Im very well aware that it is extremely expensive. See i wear glasses as well as contacts on occasion and my vision is still horrible, My optomotrist said its possible that im going blind but he still wants to run more tests before he confirms or dismisses it. Is surgery my only option to fix this if contacts and glasses arnt working?

A number of eye doctors that conduct Lasik surgery will offer free consultations. Call around and find out which ones in your area offer that service. Make sure to write down all your questions so you don't forget to ask them.

First off, you are too young. if you have your vision corrected now, your eyes will continue to grow and you will end up wearing glasses or contacts again. Pros: do not have to deal with contact or glasses Cons: dry eyes and maybe some glare and halo at night Try contact lens? Might be the best solution for you at the time.

I'm considering this two - however, you will not be able to get it for two reasons 1 - your age 2 - your vision needs to be stable
