LASIK eye surgery or contact lens?
If I were to eliminate wearing glasses, which one is better?

Anywhere in UK which will do laser eye surgery on somebody with nystagmus?
I already know that there is nothing that can be done for my nystagmus at this time, which really kinda sucks. However I wanted to look at getting my numerous other eye problems fixed if anything to alleviate some of the difficulties, so I only have to deal with the nystagmus.The other eye problems I have are photophobia, myopia and occular albenism the cause of the nystagmus no doubt I know of those the only one laser surgery could fix is the myopia. I'm really just hoping for a difference, any tiny difference woudl be good.So yeah, if anyone knows of anywhere in the UK which would do it, please feel free to lemme know.

What are the Pros and Cons about eye surgery?
well im tired of wearing glasses. And i want contacts but my mom wont let me i hate her for that because ive eplained my reason to most of her friends and they actually understand.i am a 13 year old that is very active, all of my electives are dance 3 and tae kwan do, i wanna be able to do these without having to worry about them falling off or somebody bumping into me then my glasses fall off, espcially when im performing . so my next consideration is eye surgery. what are the pros and cons of it? if you've had it, how was the experience, explain btw i cant just simply take off my glasses because i see horrible without them i am near sighted how much is it usually around?

I just had lasik eye surgery yesturday, can I go to gym and lift weight? I was at the doctor office today and they said that it is ok, but I can not go swimming for atleast two weeks. I'm not worrying about the swimming part cuz I hardly swim. My family member said not to go to gym or lift any thing heavy cuz it might strain my eye... is this true? lasik eye surgery worse case scenerio you could become blindcontact lenses worse case scenerio you could get an infection and ruin your eye and maybe even become blind.

How much does reliable laser eye surgery cost?
Alright, I'm 15 and i figured id start saving for laser eye surgery starting now.. i know it's a lot but in the end it will be totally worth it... however i have no experience whatsoever in this matter, but i don't want to rely on glasses contacts for the rest of my life.. can anyone say around how much it would cost to put my vision to 20 20, and maybe recommend someone to do it? I live in the so. cal. area by the way, about 40 minutes from Redlands and an hour from Escondido.. Help would be much appreciated 10 points best answer Thanks

So I had my LASIK eye surgery... And the results were better than expected?
So I had LASIK Intralase CustomVue wavefront 2 days ago.My eyes are starting to heal and almost by the hour my eyes have been improving dramatically.I had a post day check up where they said my eyes will continue to get sharper over the next week.However I did an eye test and my eyes are 20 10 in both eyes .This is twice as good as 20 20 and almost at the limit of human possibility for good vision. I am obviously tremendously happy about this DI did a lot of research into laser eye surgery and apparently not everyone but most people get 20 20.To get 20 15 happens but not heard of very often. But to get 20 10... I have not heard of any reported cases except a couple of that correction.How rare is it?
