What is the average cost of lasik or PRK for your eyes?
I want to have mine done and I went to a eye doctor today just to kinda check it out and all went well and they set up a plan for me to make payments and stuff but I was wondering if they are reasonable in the cost to do the procedure. Anyone have any idea as to the cost of this ? Thanks.

so im only 17 but really want to get this surgery. im planning on making an appointment to check how the procedure's done and all, but anyways , i wanted to know real quick if mine will be super expensive, because my prescription is like 6 points or wtv u wana call it.. and i think thats higher than usual...so it should it come up to around 3500$ total, right? and also, if i get it done now, am i set for life??? orr.. can it go bad again?..

I'm looking to get Lasik done in the next year...my vision is fairly decent ... .79 is my worst eye... anyone know what the average price should be around for custom lasik? I know it ranges for how bad your vision is and what not. My contact script is around 4.5, which makes my glasses around 5, I don't have a stigmatism or anything, any ideas?
Why do you think is there so much discripancy on the Cost of Lasik Eye Surgery?
I were thinking about getting lasik eye surgery and checking for the costs. I found so much discripancy on the costs. For example, at lasikmd.com, they say that their minimum is CDN$490 eye though the prices change per prescriptions. But, at Bochner.com, it says the minimum is CDN$2700 eye. What do you think is the reason for such discripancy?
