Why does haloes occurs after lasik laser treatment ?
I have just before 2 weeks undergone lasik laser treatment, i can see haloes in dim light, till how many days i can see this haloes, i am unable to drive vehicle due to this haloes Is it normal and in how many days it will recover ?

Have you had lasik surgery?
This is my first time using this site so forgive me if I do anything wrong. I am scheduled to have LASIK on Wednesday and I am still a little apprehensive about the whole thing. When I had the consultation the doctor said that it wouldn't hurt but I am still a little worried. The part that worries me the most is the flap part. This basically terrifies me. How can cutting off part of your eye not hurt? I am scared to death thinking about this. I am 22 years old but have worn glasses since I was 9 and contacts since I was 15. I am sick of the whole thing so I do want to have the procedure, but that doesn't stop me from being nervous. If some of you who have had it can go a little more in depth about what it feels like and what happens that would be great Thanks again for helping out a newbie

Best OTC eye drops for post-lasik?
I had lasik done on Friday regular bladeless, not PRK . The lubricating drops they gave me are pretty expensive and I'm almost out. I'm wondering if there is an over the counter alternative that someone could recommend.Thank you I went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist also pointed me in the direction of Refresh. I bought a bottle and so far really like it The dryness stayed away for about 20min longer than the stuff my surgeon gave me.

Anyone have lasik eye surgery done?
I just had lasik done on my eyes on thursday. The right eye sees things perfect and sharp. The left eye sees things a little blurred. I'd guess around 20 25 20 30... I can read most things they just have a slight blur on the edges when looking only through that eye. Together it's not really noticable unless I'm reading some small print... then it's kind of annoying unless I cover the left. I was just curious if this could improve or if people have had the surgery and something similar and it ended up getting better or worse . I'm hoping it will clear up. I was just looking for people who have done it and can share their experiences. Even if it never clears up, I am insanely happy with how I can see now for the most part seeing as my vision used to be over 20 400. But yea, just curious about others experiences and how your eyes developed a week, month etc after the surgery.

Alternative to LASIK?
Hi, are there any alternatives to lasik not contacts glasses as had a test for it and i wasn't suitable for lasik due to my cornea not being thick enough. I was told due to that problem it would make my eyesight worse, that's why i'm asking if there's any other types of surgery that would help.

Are there any cures now for side effects of LASIK eye surgery?
I had the operation done in 1997, and have had an effect called " starburst" ever since. And it's only gettin worse. It is extremely aggravating, so much so that I am considering contacting an attorney. After reading, I should have never been considered a candidate for lasik. Anyways, just wondering if anything new to help with this has come about since then. Driving at night is a horrid experience.Thank you,EMR

I am in the mid 20's consider lasik, but heard case of halo and dry eye will beccome permanent, is halo something glasses won't help?Will there be something better than Lasik in few year or safer?
